DALLIN'S BIG MONTH: FOOTBALL & DATING !

Dallin as one of the team captians at the Mtn View/ Red Moutain game where he scored 2 touchdowns. I really had to zoom this from quite a distance, so this is a bad image. But Dallin is #34. The one on the left walking on to the field. His teammates pick new team captains each week.

Our oldest son Dallin is having an amazing season playing Mountain View Football. He is a Junior and has been starting each week in Mtn. View's Jr Football Team. He is starting Wide Receiver, Free Safety and is on the special teams as a Punt Returner. (Basically they play him the entire game) This past Tuesday night Dallin scored 3 touchdowns defeating Corona Del Sol 39-12!! Last week he made 2 touchdowns in the Mesa Red Mountain game!! Dallin is on fire!! He is also on Mtn. View's Varsity Roster and suits up each game. Another hilight of Dallin's month is taking Kaylee Pew to the Mtn. View Homecoming Dance last Saturday night. This beautiful girl above is Kaylee. It's been fun having her come to Dallin's games. They've been spending alot of time together going out to dinner, football games, hanging out. They had an awesome time at the big dance. They went with 6 or 7 other couples, ate at the Cheesecake Factory, and after the dance rented out Bounce U (a big indoor recreation place) They both reported to me that they had the best time together! As soon as they get their pics back I'll be sure and post those. To say that Dallin is having the time of his life right now is an understatement.... we are dang proud of him! By the way Mountain View is undefeated and is ranked #2 in the state.
Here is a couple of pictures of Dallin getting ready for the Homecoming Dance. He looked sharp in his Black Suit. Kaylee and him went shopping to pick the perfect tie to match her dress, which was black and cream.

Oh my gosh! I remember my first visit to Arizona, when David and I were just dating, and Dallin would've been about four years old, telling us every fact about every dinosaur, in his falsetto voice. "Uncle David, this is a Bracheosaurus. It's an herbavore. It eats plants. It has a long neck. Uncle David, this is a Tyrannosaurus Rex. That means thunder lizard. It's a carnivore. It eats meat. It is the king of the dinosaurs." (Say it in the highest-pitched, falsetto voice you can muster up.) I can't believe how grown up he is now! We'll have to come watch him play sometime.
